French for Lawyers
For the two subjects taught by Caen University French (Norman customary law and the history of Norman public institutions), a good level of reading French is necessary. Spoken French would also assist the student in engaging with the sixty hours of lectures.
Law Guernsey has partnered with Accent, Guernsey’s leading language training provider, to develop French for Law, an extensive, purpose-built course designed for busy lawyers preparing to become students at Caen University.
The brochure for the French for Law course can be download below. Accent's website provides more information on Accent's work with its legal sector clients to improve their knowledge of general French and bolster their confidence before attending Caen University.
