Welcome to the Institute of Law Guernsey’s Online Library of Customary Law Texts

This Library contains the largest publicly-available collection of Customary Law texts, with the possible exception of the Royal Court Library. It has been created to ensure the continuity of the Customary Law in Guernsey as well as unfettered access to those wishing to consult it.

In addition to the Library, various additional texts are listed below. These texts do not form part of the the high-quality fully searchable collection which is available via the Law Library, and as a result they have not been checked and may be missing pages. Please keep this in mind when referring to these texts.
